Female Pope?

What has the Catholic Church gotten into. The floodgates of hell have opened and the pervert Pope will most likely resign.

Question is, can a female be pope? Hoe Moe can be, pedo's can be, why not a woman? The church has slipped into hell, so who really cares?

The liberal "wisdom" is coming back to bite them.

It's quite interesting the call for the Pope to resign in the midst of the coverup of abuses which the current perv knew about and did nothing.

If Obama had an uncle, it would be the current pope pretender.

    I don't think they have any Female Cardinals.

    The Pope is picked from the active Cardinals, so they would have to have a female Cardinal to have a female Pope.

    Churches, including the Catholic Church are man-made Corporations/businesses, made to take money away from people that believe in God, Although they do provide a service of teaching the history of the Bible... Otherwise they're just there to milky money out of people who are gullible enough to believe that God set up those religious corporations

    So yes, if the corporation decides that a woman can be the Pope, a woman can become Pope. But at present, no...

    Why do you ask? Are you wondering if you have a chance to become Pope?[:D][:o)]

    Although elected by the College of Cardinals, the minimum qualification for Pope is that he must be a bishop in the Roman Catholic Church. Because the church does not ordain women into the priesthood, there can be no women bishops, hence no woman can be Pope.

    during my first year of college in 1961 i picked up a book titled "A History of Orgies"...yep u guessed it ...the church was one of the major hot spots thru out history.....

    local library had a fund raiser ..donate old books and they put a small price on them and had a day with lunch room tables out under the trees and it went quick for 50cts/$1 ...somebody bought it and ran home

    The rules no longer apply. The people are speaking out and the "leaders" cave in. The new generations have no clue and are hell bent on getting the church to conform to their perversions, vs changing their behavior an follow the church.

    Same is happening to the Constitution.

    Obama was not qualified and neither would be a woman for pope, and yet it could happen. We'll see how the protest go

    When I was in Costa Rica back in July there was a Happy-Pride parade in San Jose, the capital. Costa Rica is made up of almost 100% Jesus freaks and Catholicism is the official state religion. With the church's anti-happy stand, one would think that happy-pride parades could not even occur, but the Catholic church has lost all of its authority and no longer has any power in that country, which is one of (I think) 13 nations where it is either the official religion or receives special recognition in the constitution.

    By the way, I never liked the ban on religious topics, which on a board which has some hardcore with bible thumpers, is virtually impossible to enforce. I'll look the other way on the topic, but I'm not sure that Nunn will.

    Not really on topic but I saw the pope in the popemobile and it is a Dodge.

    I thought that was strange until I remembered Dodge is owned my FIAT now.

    Although I do believe that at least 90% of churches are nothing but man made institutions for the purpose of collecting money and controlling the population, The Catholic church has done one good thing that I can testify for. They have a good school system that is way better than any public school system. I went to Catholic school for 12 years and had enough credits to graduate as a senior when I was a junior. I was a year ahead of the public school system. They also have some good hospitals.

    Perfect place to start enacting the wishes of the left.

    A gender neutral Pope who swings both ways and advocates open border policies (except around the Vatican).

    Not sure the effect on the Catholic Churches morality but it couldn't get much worse, just a different 50% won't be pleased.

    It seems to me that evil has spawned upon us in so many ways in this day and age that no matter who takes on the role of Pope, they are in for quite a ride!

    We know of the pervasive and institutionalized rape of children by the church over the past decades. Kind of doubt this started that recently. No doubt popes for decades and probably centuries were fully aware of the practice, and hard to believe one or more was not involved.

    Catholicism runs in my family, but it is a disease that has not infected the current generation.

    Its really very simple. You follow Jesus. And Jesus only. You don't follow the pope or anyone else. I always cringe when someone talks about God being fake. He is a living God. Unfortunately, many will find this out the hard way. I sure am glad I know him.
