    great video...BUT... i think it disgraceful that AMERICA has to rent russia as its uber driver to space...and at the same time pizz all over them blaming them for our election issues.....we have done more in space than any other nation till lately and now we play second fiddle to russia and soon china will be leaps and bounds ahead....if this continues i bet the cost pre mile will go up enuff to offset tariffs

    Our plant had a crew go to Samara, Russia to pick up and bring back several of the NK33 and NK34 engines for evaluation. They are re-usable LOx engines that are built like a tank.
    We were on the Titan I, II, and IV rebuild programs at the time. Those engines are fired with a Hydrazine and Nitrogen Tetroxide mix and while they can be rebuilt after idle time, they are historically jettisoned into the ocean after a launch.

    A good friend of my brothers son was on that rocket. He told his dad it was a real rough flight down & hard landing.
