EC9s stuck

I disassembled my pistol to remove the mag safety,
got everything put back together. Racks great but does
not cock the pistol. I then removed the action module still
assembled to the slide, must have missed a step because
I can't get the slide off and it gets frozen halfway.Seeing
metal shavings so I stopped. Any ideas or suggestions would
be great.(Never even fired the darn thing)

    Do not attempt to remove mag safeties if you don't know how to reassemble said pistol.
