Weather from the beach
Wrightsville Beach. The water in Banks Channel was choppy with white caps. The wind is steadily blowing 20 with gusts up to 36. I almost didn?t swim but then I thought what would an Army Seal do and I had a good 40 min swim. Yes there is such a thing as an Army Seal and no you have never heard of them. Unlike Navy Seals they don?t spend a dime on publicity. Anyway I think it?s already almost 80 and we are supposed to get some rain later. I hope it?s not much cause some of these folks have been through hell. It?s heart breaking to see all the insulation and furniture from someone?s home piled beside the road.

Hope you had a nice swim should be cooling down fast now. I can't imagine the depression that must come with losing everything to one of these monster storms.
Seriously considering selling off more stuff and moving somewhere less lethal but I guess everywhere has it's issues.0
