Prayer Request-Final Update 8/28/18

My wife's niece was apparently bitten by an infected mosquito and she has developed Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever. She is in very critical condition in an ICU in Mindanao, Philippines.

I'm personally not a religious man and would never make such a request for myself, but the wife and all of her Filipino family are true Christians. Kesha is only 7 years old and her prognosis is not good. Your prayers might just help Kesha receive the miracle her doctors say she needs. Thank You.

8/11 - As of late last night (midday today in Philippines) Kesha is still very critical, and her doctor said she needs blood. To further complicate things, we learned that her blood type is O Negative, the rarest type of all, and less than 1% of Filipinos. They finally found a potential donor who promised to come in later in the day...we'll see if it happens.

Thank you for all of the prayers and well wishes...Kesha still needs them.

8/18/2018 Kesha remains in critical condition in ICU. She received the transfusion of the rare O Negative blood and seemed to perk up a bit, but now she has developed pneumonia in addition to still fighting the Dengue. This very sick little girl still needs to be kept in your prayers. Thanks.

8/23/2018. Kesha is awake, alert, hungry, and grumpy (probably because she now knows where she is, haha) and was scheduled to be moved from ICU to the 'regular" hospital ward today.

Thanks for all the prayers and well-wishes. I guess maybe miracles DO happen [:)][:)]

FINAL UPDATE 8/28/18 - Kesha was released from the hospital and is back home now. She's a bit thin & weak from her ordeal but I'm sure her family will take good care of her. Thanks again to all.
