Motown Music?
I grew up in the 60's and 70's and I like hard rock but I also like Motown Music.
I have this song stuck in my head.

Some great music came out of Motown in the 60s and 70s.
Funny thing is.....I never thought about 'black' or 'white' music back then. It was all just music.0 -

He hated Hari Chrishna people too. He traveled a lot in the 60's, 70's and 80's and he could not stand them in the Airports.

I'm a big fan of rap these days. Living here in the Atlanta area sometimes I'll invite a few of my neighbors over for a little rap party on the weekend. Fun is had by all. 0 -
I like a lot of old Motown stuff. I also like some of that Gregorian chant stuff. One that gets stuck in my noggin when I think about it is Roberta Flack singing "Killing Me Softly" Another she did that I really like is a duet she did with Donny Hathaway, "Where Is The Love".
Not a bad song to get stuck in ones head![8D]
Used to kick up my heals with a great gal that liked to dance at this old American Legion Hall on Saturday nights. Back in the day when these songs were on the billboard charts. One song that brings back these old memories is "Love Train" by the O' Jays.
That gal is now my wife going on 45 years of bliss!0 -

I'm fighting off the urge to spend $150 and buy time life's collection of the 60's music!

IMHO, the problem with Decade music collections is that there is a lot of stuff I do not like.
The early 70's was GREAT but by 75 the disco craze was pretty "fruity".
The 60's had a lot of fine music but there was a fairly large percentage that I could do without. I find that life is too short to listen to mediocre music! or watch mediocre movies! [;)]0 -

I like some Motown and have seen some of the artists in concert. I also like the rap group Gangstagrass, blue grass/rap fusion. Fun stuff.
