    I have heard bikers call them "ape hangers" but that takes the cake.
    Weird.

    By the way that is a pretty good photo you took while driving down the road that is hard to do.

    We have a biker chick in our town, that has these ape hangers on her bike. Here is the kicker, she is about 65 to 70 years old, bless her heart. Pearl white bagger, with ape hangers. I give her credit, she is doing what she loves.

    Actually that is a real bike, real ape hangers and that guy really rides it. I read a article about him and that bike a few years ago. Not photoshopped.

    Lack of control and has to be uncomfortable on a long ride.

    I might add it looks stupid as well. Get read of that sissy bar, cut down the exhaust pipes, and handle bars, and put a new spring on that dangling side stand, and you might save the bike. (and the rider).
