What A Bad Night Of Football In The Hood
Cameron played in the playoffs for the 3rd position. They won 32-0 before the game was called for fighting.
About 10 deputies showed up and about half went to separate the kids and half came to get the parents on our side of the ball.
In the first minute Camerons team were up 16 to 0. At half time the score was 24 to 0. Camerons team kicked the ball off and Cameron hit the guy so hard you could hear the hit a very long ways. It was a legal hit. As soon as he caught the ball Cam hit him.
Well he was knocked out for over 5 minuets. The rescue squad took him away. After the fumble it was 32 to 0 and they started playing dirty. Everytime Cam was on the ground they would step on a hand.
There was a fight between Cameron and another player. Cameron made a tackle and as he was getting up another player hit him full speed after the play. They did not even call a penalty.
Cams coach did a really good job keeping his team from fighting back. He told the team they were better than that and that we dont play that way.
After the other team tried fighting 4 plays in a row and the police showed up they called the game. The parents on the other team were getting rowdy. My daughter asked if i was carrying and i told her that you can not carry on school grounds. I told her if anything happens make sure she gets behind me.
I did have to have a talk with Cameron during the game. After he knocked that kid out the coach made everyone come to the sideline and get on one knee and take off there helmet. Some kids were congradulating cam on a great hit and he smiled a few times.
After the kids got up i called Cam to the sideline and told him that if he ever smiles when someone gets hurt again there would be hell to pay. I told him the kid could be hurt bad and you are laughing.
I told him its ok to hit as hard as you can and knock him out but to never ever laugh because someone got hurt. We will have that talk again next time i see him again.[V]

Oh Cams team has a really really good running back. That dude is fast. His Mom was there and saw how dirty the other team got and told the coach do not put my boy back in the game. She told the coach i will make him come with me now. She left when it started getting bad.
One school was all black inner city and Cams school is about 70% white.0 -
