Knife ?
My best friends brother makes knives. He wants to sell some. They are 41something stainless and stag handles. They dont come with holders of any kind. Would anybody be interested? I will post pics next week.
He cuts the blade out with the cnc machine and then finishes the blade by hand.

1 of the knives i bought is a thin handled knife about 5 inches long that has made in USA on the blade with no other markings anywhere on the knife.
Any ideas on what it might be?0 -

If high carbon steel, then oil/grease.

I believe most firearms in museums are waxed not oiled. I have a ton of knives most of which are stainless however the LT Wright Coyote I have with me right now is carbon steel and will rust if I don?t keep a light coat of oil on it. I have a ton of knives. Right now in the car I have the LT Wright, a Swiss Army Camper, a Benchmade 950, an Emerson Mini Commander, and a Timberline Ceramic folder. Oh and a Cold Steel machatte in the trunk. I find a light coat of something like Rem Oil works great. 0 -

If you are going to wax them, and I believe it's a good idea, then use

If you're throwing them into a dry box, why don't you put some disiccant silicone gel beads in with them... That'll keep the moisture out... I 0 -
In shop class, our teacher had us use something called Beacon wax on axes and such after we sharpened them. 0
