LEO Trade-in Sigs,.........

Has anyone here ever bought an LEO trade-in Sig from AIM Surplus? I see them advertised all the time via their e-mails, and every once in awhile you will see a P226 in .40 S&W for around 350 bucks.

They are a little beat up finish wise of course, but claim them to be in perfect working order.

I've been thinking of getting one for a shooter/truck gun, and maybe doing a cerakote job to pretty it up later on.

    I bought one from GT Distributing on GB...it didn't look this good when I got it..had to polish and bead blast the slide, and the frame was cerakoted. I bought an AK from AIM surplus years ago, they were pretty quick in getting it to my FFL. The only ones AIM has are DAK pistols, not a fan myself.

    For $350, I'd jump on it as long as it has the traditional DA/SA.
    If it's the DAK trigger, I think I'd still be tempted.

    There's a fair condition Glock 21 on there that would be $409 $389 to the house with FFL transfer, that is calling my name.

    The DA/SA 226 for $369 would be tempting...depending on condition. the only one mag sucks.

    That is tempting, looking at the website, I can't figure out the shipping. It's showing $0.00 is it free shipping?

    Grabbed one a year and a half ago. Came with Sig box. Very pleased

    The pics are a good indication of the condition. Pay the Xtra $10 for the hand picked. Find you a 357 Sig barrel to go with it.

    Cerracote is good stuff. I did a DIY before. Have to remove old finish first by sandblast.

    yes i have bought trade in sigs before. only issue ever with them was a brand new us made 239. and they fixed it

    They had a 226 in .40 a couple of days ago with DA/SA for 399, but I have seen them for less from time to time, with a little more wear.

    I don't really care for the DAK setup either,...not my first choice for sure.

    They have some Gen3 Glock 22s for $299.95 as well.
