Bad idea...
OK, going to the Chinese buffet on Christmas Day was a bad idea. At least 11,745 other people had the same idea. Parking lot jammed. Had to wait to get seated. There were no plates available so stood around some more. Finally got a plate and all the things I like to eat were empty. Took it as an opportunity to try some things I hadn't tried before. I didn't like them. Stood in line for 10 minutes to pay the bill. But I brought home some cookies for the dogs so they were happy.

Pretty sure that movie has helped put Chinese restaurant's in the black ever since it came out!
Denny's isn't doing too bad either after "The Santa Clause" movie!

My taste buds actually do have a very long memory. When Reese's Pieces first came out, I distinctly remember there being a thin chocolate layer just inside the outer candy coating. Now the chocolate is missing and all you get is the peanut butter!![:(!]0 -

I don't do buffet, period.
Was at Pizza Hut some years back and some broad and her two drippy nose booger eaters were at the buffet line. One was slurping watermelon juice with the spoon and the other was fingering through the salad fixin's. Pointed this out to the waitress and her remedy was to bring out a clean spoon for the watermelon. It took a stern complaint to the manager, but was finally handled properly. Needless to say I won't eat there anymore.0 -

No worries, they gave up the buffet years ago. Money losing proposition for them. There are no sit-down Pizza Huts here anymore, all take out and delivery, and they are few.0 -

We stayed home. My wife baked a Turkey along with dressing and gravy, creamed potatoes, corn, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, dinner rolls, and a homemade cherry cream cheese pie.
