I'm home, thank God! Six days in the hospital was enough. I don't have a traditional scar or a laparoscopic scar. Apparently, the appendix isn't always in the same place in all people. Doc said it took him a half hour of digging through my innards to find it.

I have a mid-line vertical incision, held together with staples, about 10" long. It looks like I either tried to deliver a baby by C-section, or maybe someone was trying to gut me like a catfish.

Sore, but glad to be home. It'll take me a while to get caught up.

    I'm glad you're okay, I got the phone number to call you. But I figured everybody and their dog got it and was going to blow your phone up, so I decided to just let you rest instead of talking to me.

    Glad you made it through and feeling better. My little brother had one burst and my oldest sister nearly died from a burst one.

    The boards blew up with politics while you were away, will be good to get some sanity back.

    I had Dawnie help me with a shower yesterday, and she shot this picture with her phone. Lighting was not great, but you get the idea.

    I had the same thing happen. They couldn't find it. Mines about 4.5" long on the right side and I had 9 staples. On top of it all I caught a cold either in the hospital or immediately after. Every sneeze was a new experience in pain. It will heal and chicks dig scars so everything will be fine. Mine was done about 20 years ago and I really don't miss it all that much.[:D]
