I Walked In A Persons House Without Knocking

I was going to get tags for a car i just bought and passed a gun store that i have not been in before. It had a huge sign in the yard and the front door was wide open.

I walked in and the first thing i saw was furniture. I thought this was a home and he sold guns out of it.

I took about 5 steps in and asked is anybody home and a guy came out of a room saying the gunshop moved about 2 years ago.

I just backed out and left. Why would you not take the sign down? Also why leave the door wide open?

    Sign still up, door wide open, man inside ????.....If I thought I was being "busted" I'd say pretty much the same thing as he did. You must look like a ATF agent [:D], next time go around to the back door [;)]

    Good thing you didn't end up shooting each other...in Dallas walking into the wrong house gets the resident killed.

    Normally someone would walk in and the guy would be standing there naked. He's probably kept that sign up for a reason. [:D][:D]
