Just On TV
It seems a kid got snow pants for Christmas and did not like the gift so he called 911.
The news anchors actually said what the kid did that was right. They said the kid should be giving the pants because where they lived it was really cold.
They also said that the pants were not considered a present that he needed them and that he should have gotten a toy.[V][V]
If i did that when i was a kid it would be next Christmas before i could sit down.
The same thing for my kids.
If thats all they could afford or thats what they wanted to get the kid that there business.
My daughter was getting a bike for Christmas when she was 9 or 10 and about a week before Christmas her bike got missing.
I took her bike to work and sandblasted it repainted it and polished the rims and did my best to make it a new bike. I gave the bike to a friend of mine who was on hard times for his daughter. Santa Claus brought Jennifer the bike and later Christmas day Mandy my daughter asked me if that was her bike.
I told her that it was and not to say anything about it. She told me that she knew better than to say anything.
As a Dad that made me more proud than just about anything.
