ATT phone and Wi-fi went out

We were on vacation and I noticed my security cameras weren't reporting so when we got home on a Sat Pm I called ATT and told them My phone and Wi-fi out and they said we will mail you a modem and I said no we need our phone.

I went all the way up to a Manager and was told they have no service people and the first appt I could get is Tuesday PM.
we went round for round and I said I worked for a Public utility for many years and they have Tec that should be working 24/7 and she said none available .

Tech shows up Tuesday Pm and was great and found battery back- up cord bad so the modem wasn't the problem.

ATT sucked big time on this one but the guy that came out was great and I had a ball calling my Congressman's office and the State Power commission and some nice calls from ATT tech in Calfruit
