My son made it out of Afghanistan! I just got off the phone with him, he said he was glade to be on his way home he should be here Friday or Saturday. He has a present for me, I am not sure what it is but I will post pics of it when he decides to give it to me.


There is light at the end of the tunnel!

    well folks I am off. My unit is being deployed soon to the desert across the pond. I will check in if I can while over there. My wife will be sending me a laptop after a while. I don't know about internet connections there though. I will miss reading about all your exploits. Take it easy.

    That is nice, they owe him a lot.

    I have been to Kuwait several times and it is a nice place. You seldom see real Kuwaitis most everyone you see are from some place else just there working.

    The problem is,, 95 % of the Muslims make the others look bad.

    Good to know they are honoring Bush. Wonder what would have happened if the U.S. hadn't freed Kuwait from Iraq.

    I very much enjoyed working in Kuwait.
    I worked directly for Kuwait Oil Company, all my bosses and people I trained were Kuwaiti.
    My direct boss Bader Al-Khayat was taken to Iraq and held prisoner for 5 months, several Kuwaitis who were captured with him are still in the sand up there somewhere.

    He thought the world of President Bush 41 as did many of the other older Kuwaitis.

    I'm glad to see they made such a gesture.
