You say they have a three year warranty on the motor? Yet you've owned it since 1999 and you're complaining? You do realize the year is 2018 don't you?

The motor runs great, its the plastic cooling fan that fell apart. Cant find a part.

life time is not your life time
its the lifetime of the product as in 30 days or 30 miles which ever comes first [:D] or out of sight as soon as your out of sight the warranty is no good

Their lifetime warranty is garbage. I bought a Cabela's Salt Stiker baitcast reel, which started malfunctioning a short while later. The manual said it was covered by the legendary lifetime warranty, but they refused to honor it.

I don't care what kind of a deal or sale Cabelas or Bass Pro has. I won't even walk into they're stores.

    Burnt way to many times![:(!]

You have to watch out for the word limited lifetime warranty also.

If you want to see or experience a real lifetime warranty, buy a LEUPOLD SCOPE.

The Leupold lifetime warranty is on the scope, not your lifetime.
Look at other scope warranties for example, such as Cabela's scopes, Bushnell, just to name a few and think about what their warranty will be 20 years from now and trying to get a RMA number BEFORE returning a product for warranty is another painful hassle usually.

RCBS has a fair warranty on their reloading eq if it's not electronic.

Sometimes the hassle of trying to get a company to honor THEIR expressed warranty is not worth the effort, so I add them to my xxit list and I NEVER buy their products ever again and tell others to avoid them and why.

Typically a cooling fan is considered part of the motor.

If a motor bearing fails, would you state the motor runs fine, I just need a bearing?

I have had good luck with Cabella in the past. NOW that Bass Pro took over things may have changed,,,

Have you tried any of the electronics parts suppliers? Those fans are pretty standard, and should be easy to find.

Give me the diameter of the fan, and the shaft size, and any numbers on it, I can probably find you a replacement.

The fan blade that cools the motor on my Cabelas vibratory case cleaner broke apart. They claim lifetime warranty on parts, 3 years on motor. They refuse to honor warranty. Any recourse? They claim Ive been using it for 30 years so it is normal wear and tear. I didnt start reloading until 1999 so I dont know where they came up with that number. Its the first time Cabelas balked at fixing any problem I ever had?
