What a difference a bit of oil will have on balls

My trackball mouse was not rolling like it used to. So since I now have an air gun I used the chamber oil to lube the three ceramic balls. I used to use 3 in 1 but that collected too much crap. But this thin stuff is amazing.

Playing online backgammon now with the trackball so loose it goes off the board.

    I always thought it depended on how energetically the oil was applied as to how performance could be enhanced!![:D][}:)][:D]

    Not sure how it would work and if it would cause electrical problems but we use graphite on locks to keep them from gumming up. Would that not be a better choice.

    An old joke comes to mind about a tube of erection cream an old man had purchased and was trying to return to the pharmacy.

    The old man was asked if he carefully followed the directions, the part about the cream needed to be vigorously applied by a well endowed 18 year old. I'm guessing that would make quite a bit of difference in the final outcome![:D][:D]

    ..Glad that worked. For electrical stuff, I use dielectric
    grease. It's in the auto supplies section. Comes in tiny
    tubes with a tiny spout. Works great on trailer wiring plugs
    to stop corrosion.
