ones person kills towns tourist trade

The owner of the Redhen in Lexington killed the whole town of Lexington tourist trade.... By kicking out Sarah Sanders for no other reason than disagreeing with her politics...

I do feel sorry for the other businesses in the area that has to suffer for her stupidity. It is not their fault that she booted Sarah out. But they are feeling the economic distresses from it... They're pulling out emergency funds to run some PR ads to try to save the towns tourist trade. What an economic Fiasco this stupid... (I can't say lady) monster caused

I wonder if they're going to renew her business license. Let's hope not...

All I can say to any liberal is, don't mess with the deplorables[8D]

    I agree and feel sorry for the others, but for once good!!!! hope she has to go bankrupt, and where is the news coverage of this? she will just cry a few tears and get a go fund me page, and make enough to retire on and never have to go back to work

    if she does, I hope the town sues her for the money she makes on a GoFundMe account to help pay for the damage she did to the town

    And as far as where is the news coverage on this, there are several mainstream media Outlets that is reporting on it. Fox News is reporting on it the Washington Post is reporting on it plus a couple others. I haven't read all the articles from different newsmedia Outlets. But I'm sure the take on it will all be the same. "It's a shame the whole town has to go under because of one person's stupidity"

    For those not familiar with Lexington, VA...

    Lexington is the site of the tomb of Robert E. Lee and his horse, "Traveler".

    Lexington is the home and burial place of Lieutenant General Stonewall Jackson.

    Lexington is the location of two of the most prestigious institutions of higher learning in this country:
    1. The University of Washington & Lee
    2. Virginia Military Institute.


    I think it was in 2011, the City of Lexington banned Confederate flags from city property.


    Annually, I still visit the graves of my heroes but I make a point of never spending a single dime in that city. No gas fill-up, no barbecue, and no liquid refreshments!


    The greatest benefit of being this old is now that the snowflakes are taking over...I won't have to tolerate them much longer. [xx(]

    Pretty sure, he doesn't live to far from there, though I am closer. [;)] He did leave out VMI and W&L.


    Lexington is in a Trump part of the state. It is quite a wealthy little area, so it will be interesting to see how it handles this over time.

    It has been some years ago that we visited Lexington. Saw Lee's Chapel and his tomb in the basement, wonderful collection of artifacts belonging to Lee, and also Washington. Visited VMI and the museum there that holds Little Sorrel, and artifacts of Jackson, including his bullet riddled raincoat. Went to his grave sight and monument. Saw his home which is a block away from the Red Hen, which is a dumpy looking place I would not have patronized myself.
    I did not know that CSA flags had been banned in Lexington. This crap is so stupid. It's not going to end well. That alone is reason enough for me to never visit there again.
