"Future World" where the future is bad

Not a good movie. I wanted to like it since Milla Jovovich was in it but I fear she's the female Nicholas Cage these days. I wish she puts out another cd instead of movies at this rate.

"Future World" is another post apocalyptical movie on earth where cars and motorcycles ran but ammunitions weren't reliable. Damn democrats [:D]. I would've though fuel would've gone off way before ammo would've.

  I wouldn't think that EMP (electro magnetic pulse) would effect ammo.[8D]

  Gasoline will last one year in a sealed container, no problem. I've left gas in my tank for a year and the car will still start and run.
  
  However, it WILL NOT pass emissions inspection in TEXAS. Normally inspect the car before putting it in storage.
  
  Upon return fill it up and add a can of GUARANTEED TO PASS fuel additive. Run the tank down to "empty" fill it up and about a week or two later do the inspection. Never failed to pass in the last 10+ years.
  
  The SUV is 25 years old and the emissions inspection is less stringent, in TEXAS.
  
  My guess is that a 90cc honda CUB motorcycle will run on gas several years old +. It will also run on "cooking oil" for lubrication.

  I had a '79 Ranchero that I did a Road Warrior job on. (flat black spray paint, wagon wheels, 50's) it was old, but the interior was good and the motor/trans was about cherry. (small block 400) had a smog pump on it.
  
  went to do the emissions test. had a huge hole in the exhaust pipe, dude says it doesn't pass because of the hole, not enough exhaust coming out to validate the test. go fix it and come back.
  
  so I went to Taco Bell. ordered a burrito, ate it, stuffed the wrapper in the hole and went back.
  
  passed the emissions test so well, the dude was amazed. had to tell me it did better than a brand new car. said wow that smog pump sure does work!
  
  I have a copy of the emissions test around here somewhere, don't feel like digging for it but that would be something to behold. said right on it 1979 RANCHERO and 3ppm CO2 or whatever
