Sunday Gunday: What's your favorite plinker?
Mine is a Browning Buckmark Camper. It doesn't matter what else I take to the range, this one ALWAYS goes with me.

Either my S&W Model 17 6" or my Model 14 6".
They always go to the range with me.
I have had the Model 17 since 1979 and could tell you how many rounds of 22lr it has fired.0 -
Uberti baby rolling block carbine
.357 magnum - .38 special - .38 long colt
Has a factory breech block conversion slowing the use of .38 rimfire (all 3 lengths short and standard and long)
Was a gunshow demo display piece that the inertia rep kept for himself - I bought it off of his widow
Superb wood - Schnabel forend - very nice case hardening and blue finish - stunning brass appointments
Short well balanced stalking carbine - walking the woods gun
Octagon bbl - it's an attention magnet every time it comes out
They never fully put into production the rimfire breech blocks and they were not catalogued or offered in north America (only in south America and parts of Europe)
It's fun to shoot and it relaxes me - and you can always find some .38 special on sale somewhere...
And oddly it groups well with double end copper coated wadcutters

Usually have to blast off a fews rounds from the M44 or the M38.

My NEF Bull barrel, .17HMR w/a 3-9x40 Nikon scope, Harris bipod is pretty fun also. Freakin' laser beam.

I have two, first is my Ruger 22/45 bull barrel. It's a pain to take down to clean, but a fun, accurate pistol. My second is my 4 inch Rossi Plinker revolver. Both are fun little .22's 0 -

have 2 of the uberti baby rolling block...reload 357 magnum with 180 grain spirepoint for fun...farther faster flatter...only for single shot...but current fav is a armscor RIA XT22Magnum 22wmr 15 round .. all steel nifty pistol.. found extra magazines and have had the XT22lr for several years.... 0 -

I really enjoy : a lever action in 357 (shooting 38s) & most any .22 pistol & I got an OLD Remington #4 Takedown (with a rough bore) that I love to shoot .22 shorts in ? Really need to reline that thing ???

really its far between my shooting spells use to be a ruger 10-22 99% of the time fun reliable and cheap to shoot .
lately is a 5.56 of some variation . I have assembled
if I just go out to check on the varmints ( chickens all in a uproar ) its a amt lightning pistol I have owned for years if dogs are upset then its a colt 45 acp [:D][:D]

For plinking, it is an even toss up between my 32 caliber percussion "mule ear" muzzle loading rifle and my 36 caliber percussion underhammer muzzle loading rifle.
Both use very little lead or black powder (cheap to shoot) and are more fun than swimming with ugly bare neked women![:o)]0 -
Marlin 60 and these go almost every time. Semi retired the Colt .22's 0 -
The 9mm AR carbine has seen more rounds down the tube in my last 4 range trips than all my other stuff combined.... 0 -

The 10/22 that I put the ArchAngel stock on with the red dot and my 22/45 are mainstays in my truck.
Love plinking with them.

My bone stock 10/22 I bought new in 1976. Lord only knows how many rounds I have put through it, but it functions flawlessly, and is as accurate as I need it to be. I had to replace the old Tasco scope this summer with a new Nikon 3-9X40 RF. Hitting 5" steel plate at 125 yards consistently. 0 -
Since my wife claimed my S&W Model 18 Combat Masterpiece 22 pistol (4 inch barrel Target Configuration) as her own; it would be my S&W Model 17 (K22). 0 -
I can never seem to get to a range without my old worn H&R Sportsman.
Worn and comfortable! Shoots like a dream! My old Browning Challenger also never seems to fail me......0 -

Just got it, and haven't had the chance to take it to the range yet, but I have a feeling it won't take long to become my favorite. H&R Model 65 Reising .22. 0 -
For plinking I usually take these two, a 19-2 combat magnum and a 18-2 combat masterpiece, They both have target grips and just feel "right." 0 -
