Are there huge lines where you are. I walked in to the local Deli and not one person was ahead of me buying them.

    Local grocery store won't sell a lotto ticket UNLESS you show an ID.

    May have got in trouble for selling tickets to someone under 18. Or people have been sending their kids in to buy tickets and the store got tired of deciding who they should check and just started checking everybody.

    I did some grocery shopping today at our local Meijers and after leaving the checkout I noticed that the customer service counter was totally vacant of customers.

    I had to dig around in my pocket to extract my small change (as I rarely carry cash) and came up with 99 cents. In my wallet I found an old instant win lottery ticket that my sister in law gave me last Christmas. It was a 1 dollar winner. Placing all I had on the counter I told the cashier gal that I would make a quick dash out to my car for the missing penny and just wanted to buy one Mega Million ticket.

    She told me to forget the penny and handed me my ticket!![:)]

    Now that I'm in the running, I will make sure I give back to that sweet cashier lady when I hit.......enough penny's to fill an olympic swimming pool![:D][8D]
