None but since I just built a AR in 9mm that takes Glock mags I have been thinking of picking up a 17 or a 34 0 -

Got two but I should pick up a G20 so my Kriss Vector CRB in 10mm could share magazines. Then again I could just buy a crap load of magazines and 10mm rounds instead of buying a G20. 0 -
1. Just bought it used last year, a gen 3 21. The price was right and they threw in a bunch of mags and some ammo. 0 -

I for one just do not care for plastic pistols all that much. I've owned a few (Glock & other) and have ended up selling, or will sell, most of them.
I will keep my Sig P320 full-size .45 and my LCP II...The rest are steel, except for the Polymer 80 builds which I probably can never sell. The Glock 24C will probably stay in the safe just because it's uncommon.
It's interesting that you chose to question my "hate to admit" comment but didn't mention any of the other Glock-negative comments posted. Enjoy your Glocks; no one said you shouldn't.

I own 4; G 19, G17, G34 (Duty gun) and G17L. The 17 is a Gen 1 and currently resides with my Dad.
As for the "kabooms", Great Guns must have some $#!t bad luck. I've overseen over 65 G19 guns out in the field for the past 11 years, both G3 and now G4 after the swap a few years ago.
If I average out to roughly 800 rounds per gun over the 11 years (Some MUCH more, some may have fired a bit less, but that's about the average since minimum qual is 30 rounds x3 times a year) the 65 guns have easily fired 570,000 rounds through them combined, with nothing more than jams caused by a batch of bad ammo (Flash holes not drilled through). The Sheriff's office has had thousands of Glocks, both 9mm and .45, in service during this same time period. Their armorers haven't reported any "kabooms" either. If there have been issues, we certainly would have heard about them.
Are their internet stories and actual in-hand Glock blow-ups? Sure. As there are with any gun; Glock, 1911 varieties, Sig, SA, S&W, ad nauseum. Happens to rifles and shotguns, too. Bad stuff happens when you try and contain 8,000 to 65,000 psi inside a firearm and something isn't right.
I guess I'm lucky. The only problems I have ever had were bad ammo (same batch ^) or because of a couple of worn magazines led to FTL jams and needed to be resprung.
For the price and reliability, I don't think they be beat. They aren't lookers by any stretch of the imagination, but they work.0 -

Was it from the auction side ? I got my 21C gen 3 from GB Seller gtdistributorsga . They were police trade ins & came with 2 or 3 13 rnd mags , no ammo . they shipped in a plain brown cardboard box . total with shipping was under $325.oo

ZERO - never felt the need.
I did, however, rush to the local gun shop/range and rent a 9mm when they were first released. It was 'neat', but no 357 nor 45.
Then I did the same when the 40 came out. Ditto for the 10mm.
I have since fired a 357 Sig version.
I still carry my S&W Mdl 60 3570 -

Nope, but it sounds like you got a good deal!
Mine was a local purchase. 5 magazines and either 100 or 200 rounds of ammo (can't remember [:I]) and paid $400. It came with the Glock plastic box & loader, but no cleaning brush.0 -

I have shot Glocks even owned one (G36) but just too boring in looks and feel.
I do not like pistols that require pulling the trigger to disassemble. There are many dead relatives who feel the same way.
Yeah I know its training blah blah but while I have never once left a round in the chamber when i went to clean any firearm (yet) that annoys me
I also prefer the long pull of DA for the first shot and SA thereafter..
As for the police trade ins going on there are many Sigs at great prices as well as Glocks ans S&W MPs0 -

Zero. Nothing wrong with them and I've shot various models, but I'm still driving trucks with points and have working rotary phones at my place. I'll catch up to the 80/90's technology sooner or later. 0
