No, I?m not into the brown liquor again. Torrential rain, wind (for this area) and hail. This damn weather is finally breaking. Temp has dropped 12-14* in less than an hour. (Now, with a bit of luck, a few more crackheads will get washed away here like they did last weekend. Keep your fingers crossed!)

    Gotta double check the preparations again now. Three days before is way too late. Hmmm: saws sharpened/spare chains-yep, gen set run/exercised-yep, water, food, fuel for a min of a week/always ready-yep, critter food supply-yep, trauma kit re-stocked-yep, plenty of good bourbon (medicinal pourposes only of course), guns/ammo ample supply-yep (to keep the savages at bay)-yep, truck and Jeep fueled-yep, plenty of extra diesel/gas-yep, several wayward women ?on call?-yep...for starters. I?m good.

    Yep MJR, the silly season it 'tis. There's no question we're gonna get whacked somewhere along the line. It's much better to have extra everything on hand so, if things do go awry, ya can sit back and be amused by the antics of the sheeple pushing and shoving for the last drop of fuel, crumbs of food, toilet paper, etc.
