I bought Motorcycle Insurance through Progressive about 4 months ago. I was quoted $75.00 for one year, and paid it in full. A couple of months ago they sent me a bill for $100 more! I asked them what was up with that and they told me the minimum rates went up in Nevada and that I had to pay it!

To put into perspective for them I asked if I were to sell them a car for $7500.00 and then come back two months later and say I wanted $10.000 more, would they pay it?

I now have a claim with the Insurance Commission and they just keep billing me.

Done with Fedex They get lost coming here or deliver before I open the doors at 9am.

I have a UPS account, and use the Endicia Platinum Shipper account (USPS)
The Endica Account is piggybacked in to UPS and will check the UPS and find the lower cost. Only Ship UPS on Bigger High Dollar items, almost always cheaper with USPS.
Brenda our USPS carrier Picks up and Drops off in the shop.
UPS guy is a great customer too.

Yup ~ stay on top of it with the Insurance Commission.

What they did is akin to FRAUD....and possibly false advertising/representation as well.

Sounds like the same problem that LF has with Fed Ex, The Greedy Cons!

Got a package coming tried to change the delivery. Cause its signature required.

Wanted to pick it up, UPS I just go to the web Site. I was already register with Fedex and had an account with them. But now I need to be verified and that means they have to send a letter to me which will take a week.

So after I cannot take delivery they will send me the letter after the day it is set to be delivered.

From what I know, Progressive is a very liberal/left radical supporting company....george soros backed......I will never do business with progressive.

I've heard the same about UPS and their labor union. Very left leaning company/senior management.

I'm not sure how you were creating your labels but when you create them on FedEx.com and check the box for residential delivery all fees are included in your quote. It's also important to include dimensions to make sure the quote is accurate for dimensional weight.

If they are going to charge different rates for residential deliveries the system should know if it is a residence because we only know the address.....not what type address it is. The whole "outside specific perimeters" is ridiculous too because they know exactly where it is going and charging extra because it was further outside the circle isn't something that should be a surprise on your bill weeks after you sent a package. We use exact measurements on our boxes. I even told Shelby on the last thing we sent through Fed Ex......"DO NOT use the system, call a person and have them make the label".......still.....we got an upcharge on our bill after that box was delivered.

What system are you using to ship? All surcharges show up in the quote on FedEx.com or FedEx Ship Manager software. If you're using a 3rd party software it may be an issue with that software not FedEx.

Shelby makes our labels. She usually goes through Gun Broker when making the Fed Ex labels (its been a minute since I've dealt with making any shipping labels, but I don't think it has changed.)

When I shipped by FedEx, about 10 years ago, we were charged the exact amount stated, though as I remember it was not on the label. I charged the customer the stated amount plus a regular retail markup. Residential delivery was a lot more expensive. I had to state whether business or residential when printing the label, and, of course, I knew which were businesses, and which were not.

Seems a mile should be a mile and a pound should be a pound regardless of its destination.....business or residence. It should be a lot easier to do that than trying to regain lost business, but I didn't go to Harvard or Princeton [:D]

Sending something to my FFL....you would think it would be a business. McKayco LLC address on the license (which is what all guns are shipped to in a perfect world) and you would be wrong. It is not a business....even though I sell more guns than a lot of actual "stores", this is a residence.

I'd reach out to GunBroker they need to have their IT figure out what's wrong with their shipping software. If the surcharges aren't coming through in the quotes in GunBroker's shipping platform. That's a problem on their end, not FedEx's.
