I will refrain from my millions of Chair Force and "Air Man" jokes as the reality is unfortunately the biggest joke here.

FROM THE UCMJ: ARTICLE 125. SODOMY 10. Punitive Articles (a) Any person subject to this chapter who engages in unnatural carnal copulation with another person of the same or opposite sex or with an animal is guilty of sodomy. Penetration , however slight, is sufficient to complete the offense. (b) Any person found guilty of sodomy shall be punished as a court-martial may direct.

    There have been happy and lesbian people in the military for as long as there has been a military. Why would anyone be supprised.

    I really don't care what any grown, consenting adult does with another grown consenting adult in the privacy of their own homes. Being happy isn't something that should be compared to raping children. As far as a happy person committing a "sin" that is still something that I feel is their own business that they can be judged for by someone with a lot higher power than myself.

    I lead a pretty vanilla life and I live in an ultra conservative area....but.....I have a bigger problem with people that chew with their mouths open than a person being happy.

    Then you are part of the problem of people who can't see past their nose.

    You say you can't compare a guy getting backdoored with rapping a child?

    What is worse, throat cancer or colon cancer? You folks go ahead and swap spit with the freaks because it's PC. Get a happy male babysitter for your grand kids since you're okay with it. I'm not.

    Also, please list an example of when the US Military has executed a service member for being happy. Separated? Yes. Executed? Not to my knowledge.

    Additionally, Article 125 could be applied to heterosexual couples as well. "Unnatural carnal copulation" can be construed to be anal or oral sex between a husband and wife. Art 125 clearly states "same or opposite sex or with an animal".

    I think there is no need for them in the military, Like women in combat what is the value added?


    Even the Israelis have phased them out of combat jobs.


    When you open up positions in the Military the first question I have to ask is why............If the answer is diversity I vote no. If its because we need every hand in the fight.....ok but that is not the case.

    This is social experimentation at the cost of readiness.

    Your reading comprehension is zilch. Did I specify US Military responding? My knowledge covers thousands of years of world history. The French have killed them, so have the Germans. You think the armies of the Crusades tolerated the abominations? You look up.

    I took your response to SP45s post to be in regards to the US Military as the original article you linked to was about a current USAFA Cadet.

    Without a doubt I believe that there were armies throughout history that killed or shunned happy people.

    I do note that you did not address the first part of my post.
    I hope that you do not actually think that happy men are equivalent to child rapists. I, unfortunately, dealt with a situation about 6 years ago when a man I served with for over 24 years suddenly became a person I did not recognize when his son admitted he was happy. He simply could not accept his son as he is.
