this June will be 40 years we have been married + 1 year and several months going out before we married .
a few were actually good ones [:(][xx(] but then again my memory is not as well as it use to be [:0]
the preacher while I was standing next to him as my about to be wife was walking down the aisle .. wispered I have a back door its not too late I will cover for you

Recently Hot Momma told me I don't have good taste.
Hot Momma is 26 years younger than me and used to get frequently stopped in the mall with women saying "Are you a model? I think I saw you on a magazine cover."
I said "I have you for my wife, you have me for your husband. My taste is WAY better than your taste is!"[:D][}:)][:D]
The things I have learned about staying married for twenty years are many but the most important is, make sure the Lord is a major part of your marriage.
After that, learned to these phrases and use them often:
"Yes Honey" "Whatever you want Honey." "You choose which restaurant we go to Honey." "I don't care, whatever you want Honey." "What do want me to do today Honey?"
And number one with a bullet!!!!!!!! "Which pair of these Italian made high fashion designer shoes do you want for (Christmas, valentines Day, anniversary or birthday) Honey"[:D][:D][:D][:D]0 -
Almost 34 years for us.
Feels like 34 minutes.............UNDER WATER!0 -
You can only pretend to run out of gasoline so long...
Besides that,she would have lefted me a long before she passed on and found the man that would wanted to sexually please her if I would have treated her that way...[:0][:0][;)]0 -
First time meeting wifes father and mother was dicey.
I had gotten out of the Navy just a few months before I met my wife.
My FIL was Army Air Corp WWII. He disliked the Navy because they had the best food in WWII when he was eating K rations.
Then to make matters worse. I was heavily into scuba diving at that time.
So I had a Chevy van I had built a bed over the rear tire wells. That way I could sleep in the van and store tanks and diving gear under the bed.
I also had curtains on all of the windows and behind seats as we had to change into dry clothes after diving.
All of this while I was going out with their daughter who was going to an all girls Catholic college.
I guess it worked out, it will be forty years in 2020.0 -
40 years this May 11, got lucky and found a girl that likes good beer and revolvers 0 -
Found mine in 1971. For our first anniversary, she bought me a shotgun- I figured she was a keeper. Still got her (and the shotgun) 0
