buyers are so funny, buy parts but not rifle
I have been safe cleaning junk and things I just no longer have a use for..Daisy 2202 bolt action 22lr I got stuck with "long story" .. Could not give it away.no bids. I noticed what parts are selling for so I took it apart,,every little screw and spring and run it as a parts with no receiver,,several bidders and sold for $195.00 ,

I hear you on the parts issue. I collect older Mossberg 22 rifles- some of which had rather.... complex sight systems (c'mon now- THREE sights on one rifle???). Sights that were frequently removed and forgotten so that someone could stick a fershlugginer 4x15 scope on there.
The parts for the sights sometimes sell for more than I paid for a working but unsighted rifle. Enough to make you weep.0
