As some of you know,at the beginning of the year a good friend of ours started a nonprofit organization called Adaptive Communities. It's an organization that helps adults with mental disabilities learn life skills needed to help them live a more independent life.

As a nonprofit all funding is done through donations.The Wausau police department has been a huge supporter of this organization and are running a fundraiser that can possibly get 15k in funding for this organization if they can win the vote from all major city PD's nation wide.
Currently, Wausau PD is ranked #16 in the nation so far in this fundraiser. All I ask of you is to please cast your vote in the link provided for officer Eric Lemirand. Thank you all, this really means a lot to me and our families plus you'll be supporting one of the finest PD's in the country.

    Well the results are in. We came in 7th with an honorable mention that awarded us a $500 donation. Not the 5k we were hoping for but sure can't complain.
