When will she retire
When will Ginsburg do the right thing by the nation and step down. Her condition does not let her give the proper diligence to the job, that it requires.
There are 4 living "retired" judges that realized that for what ever reason, health, family, what ever, they could not function to the level required to do their job properly, and stood down.
I know that the job is for life, but when this was put into the rules, it wasn't envisioned that cadavers could be kept going. Also I am sure that they thought that a judge would see their short comings on performing the job properly and do the proper thing and retire, as they are supposedly of good repore.
It appears to me that she is just hanging around to use her vote to stymie certain ideals. A judge is supposed to be impartial,and see everything on it's own merit, and to hang around in this condition, where you can't give items before you clear and complete thought and attention, is wrong. It is complete fraud and disrespect for a very important position. It is a slap in the face to all Americans.

She is far from impartial. She has publicly criticized Trump and will not step down as she wants to act as a blocking vote for anything pro-Trump. She will die on the bench, and I hope soon. 0 -

I realize that you can't shame these people into doing whats right, they have no conscious or common decency. But one would think that someone who worked up to the highest Judicial position in the nation, would have enough respect for that position to give it the respect it is due, and not make it a laughing point of the whole judicial system 0 -

Imo this is one area the Founders got wrong. Should have never been a lifetime job. Ten years max and out. They all go from being impartial to become activists on the bench. 0 -

She has been openly critical of Trump, but lets not forget GW Bush. Been numerous occasions where she has espoused her ideological political views toward him as well.
Most SCOTUS judges have enough common sense and are professional enough to keep their mouth shut until their term is over: Not her, but then again, that exactly why Bill Clinton selected her.0 -

What is so wrong is that now the POTUS cannot select a good judge who is impartial but they have to select judges to either block out another judges vote or one that is political like they are.
That is not what the founders wanted.0 -
