I agree with the news.
quote: In an unexpected move, Portland's largest newspaper endorsed the Republican candidate for governor in next month's election.
The Oregonian's editorial board chose challenger Knute Buehler over Democratic incumbent Kate Brown.
In an article posted Saturday night, the paper's editorial board cited "little vision and no urgency" from Brown during her time in office. The paper went on to slam "Brown's profound failure to lead" on issues such as K-12, career and technical education.
?This governor?s race is about leadership and competence,? said Oregon Republican party chair Bill Currier. ?Kate Brown?s failure to have serious solutions to our state?s challenges and to lead has finally caught up with her.?
The Oregonian said time is running thin to address the "most pressing problems" facing the state and Oregon needs a leader who will "make the bravest of choices" and that "Brown hasn't been that leader."

People in the print news business are generally real journalist for the most part. Pulitzer, Hearst, and Thompson were evil geniuses that printed "Yellow" and later "Gonzo" journalism to sway public opinion to war in the case of Hearst.
If the Oregonian is backing the Republicsn, there is a good chance the intelligentsia of the state see the same thing
Of course the Borgs and drones of the state will not be swayed however by logic and common sense.
The consolation is knowing the editorial board of the Oregonian is composed of intellectually honest real journalists.0 -
You should see the comments that the article got on facebook. Big swings in both directions. 0 -
I guess regular folks got tired of antifa, homeless, druggies and other non-contributing teat suckers. Maybe after Knute Buehler (awful Germanish?) I think he'll be portrayed as a fascist? Anyways if dude undo that Brown-doo I may get to change my move to Oregon again. 0 -

The situation in Oregon makes California look good. Wonder if Washington state is similar. 0 -
i was hoping things would stay the same there...keep so many of these useless dregs half a continent away from here 0 -
Ol' Knute's only half a step to the right of Brown. Neither one of 'em is worth a plugged nickle. 0 -

But who else do we have. Sucks.
Now they are going after him to show his tax records. Like that worked against Trump.
Just like the Guy Going against Defasio. Not sure there either. Art Robinson.0
