Been needing to get a brush guard
What a pain to find a good one. Had one even had it ordered just to find its been discontinued.
Hopefully the one I just ordered ships.

This one is much better than the 1st one but the list prices is also higher.

Couple of months ago, I put a Ranch Hand grill guard on my 04 Chevy. The fit was outstanding and installation was no big hassle. No cutting, no drilling, and no missing hardware. Plus I kept my tow hooks.
I was a bit concerned about mileage loss but it's been less than 1 mile per gallon loss. The grill guard doesn't compare to a full on Ranch Hand bumper but is cheaper, lighter, and retains the original lines.0 -
Why don't you just trim the brush along your driveway[?] Or does it try and attack your rig at night David?[:D] 0 -

Black berries trimming is not an option cause it attacks when you get to close.
Plus this is more for those nasty protesters in Eugene getting in my way when I am heading home.0 -

The difference between a Ranch Hand full on bumper/grill guard and just the add-n grill guard is:
My Son has a Ranch Hand bumper/guard on his 01 Chevy 3/4 ton. He hit a big doe dead center at 55 mph and all it did was bend the license plate bracket. The deer was launched over 100'.
I "HOPE" my grill guard(looks just like the one pictured) will protect my radiator and associated parts enough to allow me to drive away from a moderate deer collision.
Have no illusions about the strength of the guard it'self but the brackets and the attachment to the vehicle's frame just aren't going to hold up to hitting a deer at road speed w/o some damage.0 -

i need a brush/deer guard for three pickups but it now seem hard to find a straight line functional guard..do not want/need the huge front bumper style favored by ranchers....many now look like front wings on the batmobile and have mostly open centers ??? 0 -

Deer seem to run from my truck or car. But get the Harley out and they seek it out. Wonder if I could get one made for it.0 -
When I was driving 85 miles round trip to work, I bought a winch bumper with the added "knock down bar" for my Cherokee. That bar is at hood level and "leans" forward. It seems to do a good job of keeping deer from bouncing over the bumper into the hood and windshield. Three deer down and not a mark on the Jeep. 0 -
Do they make those for a Nissan Versa hatchback?
It is the "Deer Magnet." Two years, about $11,000 plus in damages. I've been seriously concerned about a deer coming through my windshield. I thought each of the last two, would be coming through. I was surprised when they did not.
Big brush guard/bumper on the Jeep Wrangler. (I do not use it as a commuter.) 66mi./day @ 4:30 am. on the way in.
There are deer everywhere, at that time of the morning, here in NE TN/W NC. Jump out of the fog. (Here I am.)0 -
