Beware of Dog
Upon entering a little country store, the stranger noticed a sign warning, "Danger" Beware of the dog!" posted on the glass door. Inside, he noticed a harmless old hound dog asleep on the floor beside the cash register.
"Is that the dog folks are supposed to bewaare of?" he asked the owner.
"Yep, that`s him," came the reply.
The stranger couldn`t help but be amused. "that certainly doesn`t look like a dangerous dog to me. Why in the world would you post thath sign?"
"Because," the owner explained, "Before I posted that sign, people kept tripping over him."
"Is that the dog folks are supposed to bewaare of?" he asked the owner.

"Yep, that's him," he replied.

That brings back a funny memory from yesteryear.
When I first got my boy Merlin I quickly learned what a vicious carpet shark I had. As a joke I made a hand written sign and put on my front door to warn friends and visitors.
CAUTION: Vicious Attack Puppy on guard, against bare toes and loose shoe laces.
One day the mailman had a package to deliver. He stood just off the porch out in the yard tossing pebbles against the aluminum panel at the bottom of the storm door.
And this, was my vicious attack puppy

I've shown this picture before. One of the Great Danes sleeps just behind the cabinet on the left. The other sleeps in the back, he will come out and give you a growl till the owner says something to you. Then he is your best friend.
One of the dog warning signs is right behind him and another is right below the cash register.0
