DARPA to design New Smart A.I. Weapons
It's full steam ahead for Autonomous A.I. super weapons soon! Now they could just replace Congress with A.I. and it's black box decisions to save all that money and division.
Then use the savings to help Our Democracy to be fair and impartial! Now that would work better because they would have superior intelligence then the common legislators. Who needs humans to govern anyway! [:D]

Last month, DARPA announced that it plans to fund a series of new artificial intelligence (AI) research projects with millions of dollars in a bid to get capital to AI researchers that need it quickly.
Recent advancements in AI mean that autonomous tanks, drones, missiles, and machine guns aren't beyond the realms of possibility.

Just to be clear, DARPA doesn't 'design' anything. They buy designs/products.

But as we advance ever further in the power of these artificial minds, we are playing with a tool that?s even more powerful and dangerous in some ways than even atomic power.
Quantum computing will remove any conceivable limits that an AI might have between it an singularity. Quantum computing in the wrong hands can lead to genetic tampering that might produce supersoldiers or super diseases.
