Were we tougher then or were we just too dumb to know how bad it was?

I played HS football in Texas and would sweat off 20 pounds in a Wednesday workout (back before water breaks were mandated) and now if I try to work an hour without a break for water and a fan it feels like I'll pass out.

What's the old line about "Youth is wasted on the young"?[;)]

Only 93 here in western ny.
staying indoors, drinking whiskey and beer and eating strip steak.
    Mowing the lawn can wait.

It's pretty toasty in East Texas right now! Guess I'll rest for the remainder of the day; tomorrow's mowing day.

I turned 64 in June and for the first time I?ve started using the AC in the car almost every day.

Just went on a short motorcycle ride, it was 91 when we got back. Not a comfortable ride.
More pleasant when a few clouds rolled over, but not fun.
I used to love this weather, couldn?t get too hot.
But that was when I was young and pretty, and 50 pounds lighter.

That's like riding in a hair dryer. no thanks, hated riding in warm weather.

That would require removing 2 screws, turn over and reinstall. I would most likely be dripping sweat by the time I got all that done.
