    Of course I would keep a Ford around to pull it out of the mud. [:D]

    I like it...I'd put the front end back on it...better fender flares....install some nice side pips, change the bumpers and clean up some of the rust. My guess is it's sitting on a K5 frame. It has potential.

    My Brother and I were somewhat recently talking about some of the El Camino/K5 Blazer builds we've seen over the years.


    I once upon a time, had a 74' Z28 Camaro. I like the body style.


    My question, is why are all the overhead lights covered/taped up?

    Many states have a limit to the number of lights that can be used. The only way to get around them is to cover them. If he guy did not get the covers and is cheap as the car shows he would cover them with anything he had.

    Think North Carolina Has that law as does Oregon.


    Saw those type of car all over the place in North Carolina even had a Car Dealer with them on the lot.

    I've seen some Camaros running around like that around here. But they look better than that one

    We now have a VW bug that they've extended the Cab on running around on a 70s Ford 3/4 ton four-wheel drive frame. But it looks about as bad as that

    I've always wanted to throw a Lincoln body on a 70s Ford 4x4 frame. I had two Lincoln's to do it with at different times, but never had the time to put it together. I also wanted to make Ranchero/El Camino type car out of a Lincoln.

    Kind a looks like a "Janky" Rally Fighter.

    as for too many lights. California has a limit, too of 6 forward facing. Two headlights, two marking (Amber) lights and two fog lights. How "newer" rides with more than 6 don't get pulled over it must be white privilege.

    License plates on it from Washington ? Could be a fire fighter with the ax and shovel. However I highly doubt it was built there..most likely bought from a redneck down south.

    I would be careful riding that in a field and then hit a big hole or dip while my head tried to go through the roof! Be careful out there. Maybe you have seat belts still!

    there is / was one very similar about 15 miles or so from me on a back road
    as far as I know he still has it over the last 10 years or so when I went by it was in his drive way ( its been several years since I have ben by though )

    I recall many years ago during the 4x4 craze / fad any thing was up to be converted over

    Sits a bit high for my tastes, but it would probably be amusing to drive. Besides, an old Mustang looks better as a 4x4 anyway.[^]

    So that would make cars with quad headlamps illegal ..most cars in the 60 had quad headlamps, turn signal lamps, parking lights and many with fog lights too.

    Here, state law allows 6 headlamps, had a mid '60's plymouth with quad (stacked) headlamps and added a pair of aircraft landing lights. Man, I could see a mile down the highway on the darkest of nights.

    Reason most of the time Fog Lamps only work with low beams and when the High beam is on the low beam is off. That is of course if its factory wired.

    Really had them going in my old chevy truck Had fog and driving lights on the bumper, Two sets of driving lights on the mirrors. and all worked at once.

    Friend said it looked like a space ship coming at you.

    My Old El Camino had fog lights on the bumper and behind the grill was two large Driving lights made for off road racing in the 70's. 1st time I used them was on a car coming at me that would not dim their lights. Flashed High and low and they kept coming. Flicked on those monsters and the blue light on top that car came on.[:D] Lucky we both dimmed our lights. But it melted my grill.
