Guess I will Stay Home today
With that fire at the Border(and I-5 shut down) the traffic coming to this area will use Hwy 58. We have wrecks almost daily on this road and now traffic will double or triple.

Actually its a ways away from me. But the diverted traffic is the problem. To get from my road to Hyw 58 I need to make a left right at a passing zone. There are accidents there all the time hate making that left. 0 -
Like Calif needs another big fire. The Pawnee Fire near Clear Lake is almost contained at 15,000 acres. The County Fire burned 88,375 acres in 6 days, and that would have doubled if Lake Berryessa wasn't in the way. My hat is off to the pilots of those Boeing air tankers. Watching those retardant drops, they looked like fighter bombers making a pass. I don't know how those guys can walk with a pair that big. 0 -

Add in that the fire causes air shifts that move them around a bunch. I've got a lot of air miles from the Marines and once almost got air sick. Think in one of those I would finally get air sick.0 -
Actually went to town. Took forever to get onto Hwy 58 cause a Loaded dump truck wanted to make a left. I had decided to make a right go down a bit and get fuel and head back the way I came cause the traffic was too heavy.
So I had to wait forever for that dump to go cause I could not see thru him to make the right. After that it was not bad.0
