    It's a shame he & his wife were murdered by two cousins that had heard that he didn't trust banks (depression era fellow) and had large sums of cash in his house. All they got were a few guns.[V]

    26 years later somebody found the cash hidden inside the house behind a fireplace brick. $20,000 was a good bit of money in 1973. Could still be more that nobody will find.

    thats the one ( video and story ) I watched about him , sad story
    I have thought about the paints thing also [:D]
    but he never had to use one hand to keep them in place [;)]
    as a kid if it was not a country music / bluegrass show it was a waste of TV time per my dad needless to say we seen about all and my dads car radio was the same any channel that was not country never got played

    Those pants crack me up. But his shorts never do show and he does move around a bit and they do stay in place.

    like Menny Pearls hat with the price tag or grandpa Jones whats for supper skits OR Dolly's (.)(.) [}:)][}:)]
    a lot of the attention grabbers memories will stay with many of us

    You are probably right. But with a shirt that long even if he did lose his pants his drawers would not show.[:D]
