I dont support happy marriage, but there is no stopping it...the very best thing anybody against it can do is be quite, so as to not give the other side leverage against you.....the worse thing...........

This guy is a moron anyway...all he did so far was give public land over to gas drillers with no over site and for a pittance...only state that has no tax at all on gas coming from public land.....even Texas has a tax on it!!!!!

    JMHO, but why rush a story with such sketchy details?
    Yeah, Yeah, I know. It's the "I gotta' be first" syndrome.

    And why is it they feel the need to try to lay the blame for death on the rider with this comment? "Roe was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash." Every time I see that it seems like they're trying to lay responsibility for their death on the rider for choosing to not wear a helmet.

    OK, time for the cop bashers and wear it or die crowd to crawl out of the woodwork.

    Seems like a fairly standard story written from police report.

    Police vehicle turned in front of motorcycle. Lights or no lights, sounds like the cop is at fault.

    As to the "no helmet" comment that depends on local policy. It's a fact from the report, but including it is an editorial choice.

    When I was a reporter I probably wouldn't have included it unless head trauma was cause of death. In this case might not have mattered.

    Since wearing a helmet here is law they always seem to report he/she was wearing a helmet.


    In all but one time guy was riding in his field and hit a low hanging wire at the end of the field. Helmet would have protected the head. But not kept it attached to the body.
