Well decided to go get the Speedometer I need. Contacted the local Place on line even gave them the Part number I wanted. Stopped by after work was told I needed to order it. So asked How long to get it 7-10 day they said. So I asked that long from Salem 60 miles North.
Idiot says to me we can have them ship it down. Sorry but you already lost my Business when I have to do all the work.
So tomorrow I will take a nice drive to Salem pick it up and the go to Sportsman's warehouse. That place seems to have better deals on stuff than Cabelas.0 -

Somewhere there are active and rigorously supported web site forums and clubs for those who love and collect the Harley branded sportsters made under French corporate ownership in the late 70's...
They to leaked oil and had the electrics of a British made sports car from the previous decade - but the central gauges measured value depreciation and and the riders drop in testosterone levels...

I remember and had a few HD italian / Americhi ?? in the 70's
1974 Sportster - AMF - mostly trouble free
1979 FX -AMF- looked like they put valve guides in with a ball peen hammer.
S+S parts and she's way over 300k now. Did 49 states mexihole and cunyada.
Bought a rear brake switch from HD weeks ago- I was floored- The bag said made in the USA. [:0]

Last time I was at the Harley shop they had a display of LED turn signals. I asked the kid behind the counter if I could retrofit them to my 2011.
He acted like I asked him about the theory of relativity.
And we love Sportsmans Warehouse. Good selection of reloading stuff at reasonable prices.0 -

For LED contact J&P Cycles. Kuryakyn Brand. Have them retrofitted to my 06. Head and Spots are great. Rear set up is fantastic. If they do not see me stopping even in bright light they are dead. Plus if you ask J&P a question they seem to know what they are talking about and they also ship very quick.
But will add Front Turn signals I've tried a few and none seem to be that much brighter than stock incandescent bulbs.

My Problem with this is I have been doing sales at where I work. We have warehouses all across the country.
The ware house folks if they do not have the part put in the Orders to ship from Us here in Oregon. But if their customer is on the east coast that makes No sence. Half the time I have to contact them and tell them to change their order and ship from Say Florida.
So when Folks do not know where the nearest place is that has the part I need it kind of sets me off.0 -

I bring my Harley to a private guy and he is great. When he gets done with a service he takes me into the shop, shows me the parts he replaced and why.0 -

My Private guy Passed away and now I do all the work Myself cause I have not found anyplace I trust.

Yep that works great.
Power Vision installed mine in Sturgis at the bike rally some year ago and set it up for the mods on the bike.
I haven't changed the initial tune nor tired any other tunes. My son also put one one his Harley and has tried several different tunes but always goes back to the initial setup tune that seems to work best.
How about you?
Mine is the power vision but with the Auto Tune Option. So no need to install tunes to match Mods. My Wide band O2 sensors take the measurements and the Autotune Corrects.0 -
PS the Place in Salem Had everything I needed. But today traffic was hell on I-5.
Also Found Some 32 S&W longs for my new H&R. Even got a screwdriver kit and a Screw Assortment.0
