hot spicy pickled green beans
YUMMMMM!!!!
a few weeks ago I decided to make some hot spicy pickled sausages, along with some hot spicy pickled eggs and hot spicy pickled green beans...
I have pickled eggs and sausages before, but I have never tried pickling green beans. So today because it's been a few weeks and I knew the green beans would have soaked in the flavors, I opened up a bottle of them. YUMMMM!!!:

We did some pickled green beans last year. I didn?t much care for them.
Vinegar, pickling spice, garlic, cloves, etc.
I believe I?d like them better w/o the cloves.
I suppose they will keep a long time.0 -

Cloves in pickling? Doesn't sound good to me either0 -
Dilly beans been a staple in our larder forever.
When wife started raising jalape?os in the garden a few years back, she added some to some of the Dilly beans and they were great.
Dilly beans with a bite.

Good in a Bloody Mary on Sunday morning.
Good deep fried with a tempera batter.
Good cold out of the jar.
Well, I guess they are just good.0
