well its gone
in 1978 i bought a 1951 GMC farm truck...4 speed, 261 overhead valve 6 cylinder, 250 bushel hyd lift bed...in 1988 put it on an antique tag and ran it for another 12? years and parked it in a closed shed.saw an ad a guy ran looking for an old truck...it had no rust, no dents, good paint and straight chrome grille, good glass....took half a day to get to it and clean the storage out of the bed but he laid cash in hand an loaded it up and another chapter of my life closed....he was tickled as it is hard to find any in that good of condition..asked him to give me a call when he got it glossed up so i could come see it
