Planning vacation days without telling anyone!!!
Grrrrr!
We measured some things today to try to get a mental plan going of how things were going to fit when we move the gun room. The photo shelf with the backdrop paper is the first thing to move, then once that is in place we have an idea of what room is left to arrange things that need to go in there.
Larry is off work on Thursday and Friday.....so I mentioned moving that on Friday. He reminded me he has a trip planned to Tennessee with one of his buddies (they go junk shopping together a couple times a year.)
Then, he says "We can plan on doing most of this the first week of November when I'll be off for the entire week."
(This is news to me and he realized he hadn't told me by the look on my face.) He started explaining that he wanted to take advantage of his vacation days before he lost them at the end of the year.
I'm all for not wasting some vacation days......but a little heads up so we might could have planned something would have been nice!

Never understood the use it or lose it vacation policy.
We let our guys cash out anytime they want. They make us money when they are here, so we like to have them here as much as is possible.0
