    I wonder what pushed that log caravan off before the Chevy truck starting pulling the load. Commercials back then were what you say dubious back then.

    I owned several at one time and have no doubts it happened, that's when trucks were trucks....not fancy high priced pick-ups (got one of them too [:D], no comparison) [;)]. Those models are still loved and in demand if in good working order.

    Interesting. Just curious. Once the driver got all that tonnage rolling, how in the hell did they get it stopped? Air unit for the trailers in the bed slaved to the PU brakes?

    Yep, that is a bad I will agree with, the skins were crap especially doing farm work dealing with fertilizers and chemicals....even just clean rain had bad effects [V]
