When I was a kid and lived in LA(The state) before and after Hurricanes the GOV would come on the radio and TV and state that the NG was deployed and had orders to shoot looters on sight.
That was in the 60's.0 -
that was before the insanity of political correctness took root in AMERICA...remember Ferguson ???? miles of videos and pics of looting, arson, and such wih no arrests ??????????????? i had hoped destroyed businesses serving those areas would close and let em do without... those special citizens deserved nothing 0 -

During the Rodney King LA (the city [:p]) riots and looting, Korean store owners climbed atop their business armed with rifles. The cops didn't bother them and neither did the looters. 0 -
In the article some dweeb said that 'people were doing anything to survive'. Sorry, that doesn't include criminal acts like looting.
Citizens who tried to protect their property with guns after Katrina were disarmed and arrested by the police. Police were even going to homes known to contain REGISTERED guns, breaking in and taking them- so looters wouldn't! Most of those weapons disappeared. There were videos on YouTube covering this gross injustice and I will never forget it.0 -
