Lindsay Lohan is on Target and Damned for It.

She seems to grasp the irony and the reality of the MeToo fads destructiveness. How many male feminists we got on the forum? I remember five last time this subject came up.

I'm pretty sure Lohan is speaking from experience in Hollywood. She was a cutie when she did Mean Girls, but got into dope, got her chest puppies pumped up, and posed as Monroe for Playboy.

As much as the weak losers are loath to admit it, Lohan's observation is correct. Women surrendered the pink for jobs and fame. Twenty years later they want to claim they were like little children and not responsible for their decision?

Bring on the Islam nonsense as women aren't capable of going out in public, much less signing contracts. What were those interludes but verbal contracts? Give sex, get work, fame, and fortune. Grow up stupid women.

    If you get groped or raped I would think you would tell the police or someone who could help you out.

    I have grave doubts and I am suspicious when they wait this long or in several cases go back many times knowing what is going to happen, Then reap the benefits of the encounter and after time goes by whine about it.

    She is correct, IMO, but one does have to consider the social norms of the day, and the fact that reporting such things would most likely result in a budding actress being removed from the profession.

    These women made a calculated decision at the time to advance their careers by allowing themselves to be taken advantage of by some disgusting people.

    It was their decision, and they are responsible for making that decision. For some it was the only path towards their chosen profession, and I would hope that we all agree that putting such obstacles in that path is wrong.

    That said, to come back 30 years later and pretend that the quid-pro-quo was in some way a rape, is wrong, and yes, Ms. Lohan is 100% correct in stating that it displays a weakness in the individual. She is pointing out that the MeToo movement is more about rehabilitating the psyche of the individuals that prostituted themselves for employment than exposing the evils of a misogynist culture in Hollywood and the US in the past century.

    This is not setting well with some of those that participated, and those that have gone through the mental gymnastics necessary to frame the behavior as only one-sided.
