Getting ready for my hog hunt!

I have to reload some rounds for the .277 Wolverine and get some snake boots or guards, but I have the guns modified to my need. Do you think this will do? [:D]

    NAA 22 and a pocket knife ??????? a group from here goes to texas every year for a few days to hunt hogs...they haven't tried a helicopter yet $$$$$

    We're going to Texas as well. It's just a 1 day hunt though. We will be stand hunting for a bit in the afternoon and stalking all night. I'm pretty excited.

    I went hog hunting last weekend and got two that are at the processor right now. I only used one rifle but I did have a revolver on me for backup. Good luck hunting

    I think you are loaded for bear hog.

    I have killed over a dozen of 'em and they aren't hard to kill. Shoot right behind the shoulder like a deer and he won't go far.
    I have killed 'em with a 30-06, a muzzleloader, and even a 1911 Colt with military ammo.

    What you want is a female hog about 100 pounds and that is the best eating on God's Green Earth. A 100 pound male is pretty good too.
    I recommend the Brinkman electric smoker and mesquite wood, you would not believe how good.

    If you want to be Macho man and shoot the 400 pound boar, the tusks might look good but, take it from me, the meat is inedible.
    On that giant dinosaur-swine, take it from me, a single shot to the neck will drop him in his tracks.

    I also like the ear shot. It drops them in there tracks.

    I just have to wait until February now. [:(]

    Good part is I have plenty of time to get the ammo reloaded and think of anything else I might be forgetting on my "pack list."
