I picked up my 870 20 gauge

This is the 870 Express 20 gauge I posted about a few weeks ago. This thing is nice and light and quick handling. It definitely needs to get shot a bunch to get the rails smoothened out, but that shouldn't be a problem. [:D]

    Just sit in front of the tv and every commercial pick up your gun and pump it ten times. It will wear in soon or your wife will throw you out of the house one. If she throws you out try to find a window that will allow you to see the tv and carry on.

    I have a few 20ga HD shotguns including a Rem. 870 , a Rem. 1100 , and a Mossberg 500 . Been using the 20ga for 3 decades . I haven't done any water fowl hunting since steel shot.

    My favorite shotgun is a standard weight Model 1100 with extended magazine and a 24 inch barrel. I can lay down a field of buckshot very quickly .

    I'm thinking about trying that "glow-in-the-dark" paint on the front bead. Has anybody used this before?

    I also see that they make a night sight that glues right over top of the front bead.....maybe that's a better option? It's $70 though.

    I would prefer a small flashlight over a night sight. When you iluminate the tango you will be able to reference your barrel.

    Wilson Combat rear peep sight, high Vis. front sight. Barrel mounted light, with an instant on (finger activated) configuration, as good as it gets IMHO.
