The State may be beautiful, it may have perfect climate, it may be the place you were born and raised. You may even be making a lot of money living there, doing well and providing for your family. I am sure that exact same scenario is happening in Iran, North Korea and Sudan.
The issue is Government, the State of California is ran lock stock and barrel by a bunch of gawd-dammmed Communists and unlike the countries mentioned above you can sell out, pack up and get the hell out before it truly is too late.

How?s that?
Senate Bill 826 requires that each firm have at least one woman serving on their board of directors by the end of next year. Boards with five directors must have a minimum of two women, and boards with six or more directors must have three or more females by July 2021 under the legislation.

I don't see how that could hold up in court. Bit it california, and many companies are going to exit yet again.
Do women owned business have to have 2 men if there are 5 directors? Maybe they need to mandate minorities on the board of a private company too.

I would spell it out kindly in clear terms that "We are moving out of this crapola state, end of discussion start packing." A Shewhomustbeobeyed can not allow female emotion based piss-poor decisions override common sense in any household. Kids grow up, grand kids and their parents can travel, you can travel too making those visits more memorable and that is what life is, memories.
