Jeep pickup will debut November 28
The pickup is also expected to be offered with a diesel engine option, but we?ll know for sure when the wraps officially come off it on November 28.

Am Waiting for the Diesel. Now to see what the cost will be. Bet the Diesel will be a second year option and then I want to wait at least a year for them to work out the bugs. 0 -
Not for me, I won't own a Chrysler product since they took the first government bailout, let alone the second one.
Plus since Chrysler sold out to Fiat, Fiat has turned them all in to Rolling turds0 -
I bought a new 1986 Jeep Comanche pickup. It was a good vehicle. When we parked it due to severe rust, everything still worked and it had 1/4 million miles on the clock. I bet this "new design" won't do that. 0 -

Diesel is the rule rather than the exception outside the U.S.
Can't understand why so few Diesel engines in the U.S. although diesel fuel doesn't have much of a price break in the U.S.0 -

Yeah I still see some of those comanche pickups on the road. Good little trucks...only reason they lost out to the others I think is the gas mileage from that straight six (one of the best jeep motors ever) could not compete with the four cylinder engines from Japan.0 -

I've driven JEEPS for 33 years.....everything from CJ'S....WRANGLERS...COMMANCHE....CHEROKEE....SCRAMBLER....ONLY REPLACED A TRANNY IN ONE.....I LOVE THEM AND WILL BE LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEW TRUCK..... 0 -
Jeep has been offering a pickup conversion kit for the 4 door wrangler for the last 5-6 years. 0 -
dont care for much of anything produced since the '70s
used to be able to actually work on something, you could tell brands and often model from a good distance instead of all the generic jelly bean look
what i really miss is my '61 willy's p/u with the flat 6
gearing killed mileage and it screamed like it was about to fly apart on the highway, but that sob would climb straight up a tree rather than quit !
in the rough, it had to be a rock higher than the axle to stop it, and growth up to 3 inches diameter you just went over
often had the front end in the air till the sapling either snapped from the weight or just bent to its will0 -

Pass, Jeep has been going downhill since Chrysler got their fingers on it.
Hopefully if they do put a diesel in one, it will be Cummins. The diesel will still be running while the rest of the vehicle falls apart around it.0 -

Mine only got that High when I was coasting down hill. Mine only Averaged around 15.0 -
Modified 2010 Jeep Wrangler here.
It's been solid, no repairs (low mileage, 45K miles.)
Love it.
Every time I take it back in for an oil change, (lifetime warranty through dealership.) They try and buy it back from me.
Constant compliments on it, wherever I take it.

six cylinder, 4WD?
Ours both have the 2.4L 4 cylinder. AWD with ability to lock in to regular 4WD or a twist knob for locking into Mud, Sand, or Snow mode. Those just have different setting for power distribution to the front and rear wheels and TC or ESC on/off.
